  • Choose the right market and potential customers. Get these wrong and you will struggle. Do not just stick with what you know and risk missing out on richer prospects. Do your research and be prepared to do what is less comfortable for you and your team.
  • Know your customers. Only feedback will truly help you grow and remember that it is easier to retain customers than it is to get new ones. You need to listen to them and use their opinions to help you refine your offering.
  • Do not encourage a culture that hinges on individual goals. Have goals of course but make them collective objectives. If you encourage people to hit personal goals they may do so with little regard to the company’s overall success.
